Mind If I Brag A Bit?

As in my previous entry, i do state that i love singing right?

This entry, i want to share my experience singing. In front of others. On the stage. Ahahah. Why does it sounds so serious? Burrr

It started when i was six years old. At my father's workplace annual dinner, my mother said to me, "I dare you to sing on the stage and i'll reward you as many as Doraemon's CD's you want"

At that age, i love Doraemon more than anything in this world. (hahaha it was funny when i think about it now) So, i challenge myself to do it.

aww aww

Guess what? That's me in the picture. Sorry it is not clear but it is really me. You don't have to mention. I know back then i was cute and the fact is, i'm still cute though. mihmihmih :3 Ok stop it Wafaa. --' The thing is, I did it. I can remember clearly what song i was singing. But please, promise you won't laugh if i mention it, will you? It was a Bollywood song. "Dil To Pagal Hai" . Hahahaha. You better believe it. So, I end up getting many Doraemon's Cd's from my mum. Yay for me.

It goes on when i was in Form 3, there was a Talentime Day where there are a lots of activities going on in my school. We, students. can choose to participate in sports, or join the talentime. As for me, sports is the last thing on earth if i have to choose. Hee. So, i choose to join a solo singing compettition. The theme is 'Lagu Asli' so i picked Noraniza Idris's song called Awalah Dondang. I join the competition just for fun and Alhamdulillah.

I won the second place. Hiks. It was a sweet memory for me as i join the competition with my bestfriend, Nabila and she also won the third place.

I just wanna say that, if you believe you can do it, you're half way there. Trust yourself and give a chance to yourself to prove that you can.

Assalamualaikum

Don't Walk, Run! Running Man.

Korea again. Hihih. I must state here that I am not a K-Pop die hard fan. But i am a big fan of the famous reality show. Running Man !

My another interesting hobby is to watch every episodes of Running Man. It is hillarious as i can even laugh out loud even when i am stress to the max. Running Man has 7 members which is Sukjin, Jaesuk, Kang Gary, Ji Hyo, Jongkook, Haha and Kwangsoo. Here are the pictures of them.

For sure everyone that watches this variety show, has a favourite member of Running Man. For me, i like Kwangsoo oppa!

He is the youngest and tallest member of the cast and initially introduced alongside Gary and Song Joong-ki as one of the "variety rookies" due to his lack of experience on variety shows prior to Running Man. During the earlier episodes he was known for framing his fellow members with embarrassing and often absurd rumours. He is often picked on by the rest of the cast, particularly Kim Jong-kook, due to his timid nature. He is one of the weakest players, often the first to be eliminated during race missions. However, he has grown to easily betray his fellow members without concern. Due to his immense popularity when the show is filmed in other Asian countries, he has since been known as the Prince of Asia.

*melting* OkBye. Hahah!

Assalamualaikum.

Sing-Ing :) Karaoke-Ing

Singing loudly never failed to release my tension. It's just the matter of people that heard my singing, I don't know if it cause them to be stress muahaha. I really love singing. Anytime, anywhere. Ngeeee.

When i hang out with my girlfriends, after we watched a movie, usually we'll go for a karaoke session. There is a place in my housing area, that offers a cheap price of karaoke session where we can rent a room and karaoke. It is really cheap. Trust me. I can't afford a karaoke place like Loudspeaker as it is too expensive and it would be such a waste of money.

Speaking about karaoke, i wanna share types of song that will be in my list of must karaoke song. hahaa. I love Adele's songs. Although i wont reach the part of the high key in her songs, i enjoy singing it.Not to mention, to spoil her songs muehehe. Some of my favourites are 'Someone like you', 'Rolling In the Deep' and 'Set fire to the rain'.

Another one is Titanium by Sia. Not to forget, Taylor Swift's songs, Setia kasih by Haleda and so much more. The music video of Titanium is awesome. I think you should watch it. Nah.

That's all for this entry. Have a blast people!

MoO V's

In my leisure time, I love to watch movies in cinema. But when i started a new life as a student, i don't have many leisure times to do such hobbies. Life as a student are never easy. There will be a lot of tests, quizzes, assignments, presentations, group discussions and so much more. So, when I am on a holiday, i will make sure i'll spend my time watching movies in cinema. Hahah. It is just another way to release my stress.

What genre of movies is the most exciting to watch? For me, an action movie. And my favourite action movies ever is Mission Impossible. It is not just the hero that captures my heart (ecewah) but it is the action in the movies itself. Every sequel of Mission Impossible never failed to 'wow' us. Tom Cruise, starring in this movie, played role as Ethan Hunt really make my heart skips a beat and a beat and a beat from the beginning until the movie ends. Okay too much, I'm sorry i can't help myself :P He is so hot. Although my mum said that he is old already, but he is still handsome though. Nyehnyeh.

Ohmaii. The latest sequel of MI:4 showing on 2011

I told you, he is handsome. *winking*

Okay enough for Mission Impossible, time to move on. My another favourite movie is. Superman ! I started to like this series from the television series named Smallville starring Tom Welling as Clark Kent. When i know there will be a sequel movie of Superman: Man Of Steel, i don't waste the oppurtunity to watch it. It is around this year i think, but i can't remember the exact month when it was showing. But overall, the movie was great. Nah.

Superman : Man Of Steel

Tom Welling is no longer the main actor in Superman but the new one is not bad actually. Heheh.

Thanks for reading dear readers :)

I Hear Your Voice. Did You Heard Mine?

Have you ever watched any Korean dramas or series? It is very differrent from Malay drama. I am not underestimating our own drama industry, but the story line of malay drama is predictable. It is always like the boy likes the girl, flirt her, the girl doesnt like him, but in the end, the boy gets the girl. Or maybe a marriage that is forced by their parents, you know, it is boring.

That is why i love to watch Korean drama series rather than Malay drama. Korean drama shows many aspects in life such as love, family, career, or maybe the drama is just basically about someone's dream, but it turned to be a wonderful drama.

I am not a K-Pop lover. But still, i can't deny the fact that Korean drama shows a good moral values to the viewers. They tend to show their culture, customs and yet, still interesting.

I have a favourite. I really love this Korean drama series as it storyline is unpredictable. I stick to the television every week just to watch this drama. It is full of suspense, action, romance and many other elements. I have to admit that i feel thousands of feeling when i watched this drama titled "I Hear Your Voice".

It is a thriller courtroom drama with fantasy and romantic comedy elements. It will depict the story of Jang Hye Sung (Lee Bo Young), a bold, sassy, thick-faced, comical, and materialistic public defender who becomes a lawyer after overcoming poverty and painful memories from her childhood, comes to realizations about society and justice after meeting Park Soo Ha (Lee Jong Suk), a 19-year-old boy who reads other people’s thoughts and Cha Kwan Woo (Yoon Sang Hyun), an innocent lawyer who lives a disciplined life. Jang Hye Sung is actually Soo Ha's first love after she gave a decisive testimony on his father's murder case 10 years ago and Soo Ha promised to protect her from the killer's threats. Meanwhile, Cha Kwan Woo is Jang Hye Sung's fellow lawyer who is a cheerful and idealistic former cop even though his character a bit slow, he is nice and pleasant with a firm idea of his principles and justice. Together they will team up to to find the justice in the courtroom and solve the toughest cases with less than 1% chance of winning.

Interesting, right? Do watch this trailer and i bet, you will search this series and download it right away :P

So, get the full episodes of this drama now and keep reading my blog ! hiks

Shop Till Drop

One more thing i'm addicted to is. .

SHOPPING!

I still can control this bad habits now as i don't even have much money to buy everything i want. But i love the way i feel when i get to buy something. It's something that i can't describe, which is satisfaction.

Every single month, i will save my money to buy at least a cloth or shoes or whatever because for me, shopping is just like a theraphy. It is like one of the way we can reward ourselves after going a stressfull month or a bad experience.

Some people said that woman who likes to go shopping is actually stressed out with their life. I totally disagree with it. To me, i love to shop because i want to take a good care of my appearance. I believe that appearance always give an impact on the first impression.

For me, shopping is not a waste. Never a waste because.

:D

Thanks for reading !

Hola Hula !

I am not a fan of love story novels. I am a realistic person so i love reading facts, not a fantasy of happy ever after ending love story novels. Heh. I wanna share with you guys, types of books that i love to read. Anything that is related to history! I found it interesting to read things that happenned before. The stories of our ancestors, customs in different state in Malaysia and so other countries.

Are you familiar with the word hula? Hula is a popular dance by the Hawaiian. Whole wide world knows about this dance. I read this and I'm glad to share it with all the readers. So, lets explore the history of Hula :)

Hula dancing is the traditional art of movement, smooth bodily gestures and vocals.  You may notice that Hula Dancing seems to have an incredibly smooth "flow" and the movements are extremely fluid.  These movements are said to actually tell a story or represent movements of nature such as trees blowing in the wind or fish swimming smoothly in the ocean.

The Hawaiian goddess Laka seperated her Hula Dancers into two groups...

Olapa (Agile ones) - This group represented the younger generation of dances with more energy.

Ho'o-paa (Steadfast ones) - This group represented the elders which sang and played musical instruments.

What most people don't know about Hula Dancing is that all hula dances originate from a series of only six traditional moves.  Of course, there are a wide variety of interpretations and different ways of using these base movements to create unique and beautiful performances.

Traditionally, you will find both men and women wearing knee level skirts made of palm leaves as well as flower leights around their arms, lower legs and heads.  However, prior to 1820, women wore skirts that were much shorter and men simply wore loin clothes.  It was in 1820 that missionaries made them wear a less revealing wardrobe during their performances.

I want to share a videos about this Hula but there seems to be a problem attaching this video. So for a better understanding of Hula, click here Hula For Dummies and watch the awesome video.

Till we meet again, Assalamualaikum.
